Jenna Taylor is a clinical psychology practicum student at the Chicago DBT Institute. She has earned her master's degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology housed at National Louis University.
Jenna has experience working at crisis hotlines, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. Through this work, she has provided crisis support, conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations, and implemented short-term individual and group therapy utilizing Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to patients across the lifespan with a range of clinical presentations, including concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, psychosis, substance use, suicidal ideations, and trauma.
Jenna's approach to therapy emphasizes maintaining a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that meets clients where they are. She aims to collaborate with her clients in identifying their own values and working towards their personalized goals.
In her free time, Jenna enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with her loved ones and cat, Bellatrix.
