Kylie Patrick is a clinical psychology practicum student at Chicago DBT Institute. Since beginning her doctoral program in 2022, Kylie has earned her master’s degree in clinical psychology and is working toward a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Midwestern University. Kylie has experience working across the lifespan in inpatient hospitalization settings, working with individuals experiencing a wide range of clinical concerns, including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, and psychosis. Kylie also has experience working with individuals while engaging in partial-hospitalization and outpatient hospital programs. While working at a pediatric neuropsychology practice, Kylie gained additional experience working with children and adolescents experiencing academic and neurodevelopmental concerns such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. In working within these settings, Kylie has developed an approach to therapy that emphasizes meeting individuals where they are and collaborating closely to identify and work toward individualized goals, empowering individuals to progress through learning and practicing skills and identifying values. In her free time, Kylie enjoys camping, hiking, watching her sports team, and spending time with her cat.
