Shuziya Clemmons is a clinical psychology practicum student at the Chicago DBT Institute. She recently earned her master's degree in clinical psychology and is currently working toward her doctoral degree at Adler University.
She has worked with teens and adults in hospital and residential settings, supporting people through challenges such as anxiety, depression, overwhelming thoughts, and other difficult life experiences. These experiences have shaped her belief in meeting people where they are and working together in a way that feels supportive and real.
Shuziya is passionate about learning and using DBT skills to help individuals build lives that feel more balanced and meaningful. She focuses on creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
Outside of her work, Shuziya enjoys reading, binge-watching TV series, and spending time with her family.
